I only work to afford food for my golden.
But besides that, I just really enjoy the idea of building things that help humans optimize their experience here on Earth. I feel that as a designer of technologies, it's my duty to design with this in mind. That my efforts extend beyond me, beyond the screen, and into the real lives that we impact. Outside of design, I really like being outside. Camping, hiking, cycling, surfing, and enjoying my time as much as possible. Working with me means your working with a Human, capital H.

Sr. Product Designer contracting for Expedia and Ford Motors. Redesigned the Map features for Expedia. Created a northstar vision for Ford Credit dashboard.
2019 — 2021
Papa - Design team of one, redesigned the main mobile app and created a dashboard our internal care team. Series B and C rounds. Y-Combinator.
2019 — 2019
Very Big Things - Agency work where I led design efforts for a startup client called Papa. Realized I didn't like agency work and got hired by Papa directly.

MDLIVE — Helped improve our main Telehealth product through a better patient onboarding flow.

Dedication to craft
I've worked with several high performing teams and the idea of loving your craft is the difference between regular builders and exceptional ones. I love both the philosophical and tangible aspects of this profession.
Hard work, simply said
I didn't come from much, my parents were Cuban immigrants. Hard work triumphs talent all day and I respect others who think the same. Get it done, don't just talk about it.
Mindful growth
Knowing that you aren't shit, frankly. Everyday is a learning experience, you can always be better, do better. Being average is not an option and crying about your situation is worse. Be mindful about your own growth so you can help others.
Leaders eat last
Leadership is a service role. When you have power and control, you have an obligation to help more people. I prefer working with service oriented leaders.
